Jewellery Sizing & Fit Guide

This guide helps you choose the perfect fit for your Bessie Bae sterling silver jewellery. Our bracelets and anklets are crafted with stretch cord for a comfortable fit, necklaces are 18", and most rings are adjustable for everyday wear.

Necklaces

Standard chain length: 18" (45 cm)
This sits around the collarbone on most people and is our current standard chain length.

Bracelets (Stretch Cord)

All Bessie Bae bracelets are hand-strung on premium stretch cord for a flexible, clasp-free fit.

How to Measure

Wrap a soft tape (or string + ruler) around your wrist just below the wrist bone for a skin-fit measurement. Add a small comfort allowance (0–0.5 cm / up to ¼").

Suggested Bracelet Sizes (Inner Circumference)

  • Small: fits wrists 15.5–16.5 cm (approx. 6.1–6.5")
  • Standard: fits wrists 16.6–18.0 cm (approx. 6.6–7.1") – our most common fit
  • Large: fits wrists 18.1–19.5 cm (approx. 7.2–7.7")
  • XL: fits wrists 19.6–21.0 cm (approx. 7.8–8.3")

Tip: Between sizes or prefer a looser fit? Choose the larger size. We can restring your bracelet post-purchase if needed (a small fee may apply).

Anklets (Stretch Cord)

Our Bessie Bae anklets are made using the same durable stretch cord for gentle movement and lasting comfort.

How to Measure

Wrap your measuring tape above the ankle bone and add a small comfort allowance (0.5–1.0 cm / up to ⅜").

Suggested Anklet Sizes (Inner Circumference)

  • Small: fits ankles 21–22 cm (8.3"–8.7")
  • Standard: fits ankles 22.1–23.5 cm (8.8"–9.3")
  • Large: fits ankles 23.6–25.0 cm (9.4"–9.8")
  • XL: fits ankles 25.1–26.5+ cm (9.9"–10.4+")

Prefer a relaxed, draped look? Choose the larger size for a looser fit.

Rings

Adjustable Rings: Most Bessie Bae rings are adjustable and suit finger diameters of 17–20 mm (UK N–R / US 7–9). Adjust gently for comfort.

Fixed-size Rings: Some designs are fixed. Use the table below to find your nearest size by inside diameter or circumference.

How to measure your finger: Wrap a strip of paper snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it meets, measure the length, and compare to the circumference above.
