How to Measure Your Wrist for the Perfect Bracelet Fit
Finding your perfect bracelet size should feel effortless — just like wearing it. At Bessie Bae, we want every piece of sterling silver to sit beautifully and comfortably on your wrist, so here’s a simple guide to help you get the perfect fit every time.

Measure Your Wrist
Start by measuring just below your wrist bone — this is where your bracelet will naturally rest.
You can use:
- a soft measuring tape, or
- a piece of string wrapped gently around your wrist, then measured against a ruler.
Make a note of your measurement in centimetres or inches.
Add Your Comfort Allowance
Your bracelet should feel secure yet comfortable. Choose the fit that suits your style:
- Snug fit: add 1 cm (about ¼–½ inch)
- Comfort fit: add 1.5–2 cm (about ½–¾ inch)
- Relaxed, draped fit: add 2–3 cm (around 1 inch)
This small addition ensures your bracelet moves naturally with you throughout the day.
Select Your Bracelet Size (Stretch Cord Bracelets)
All Bessie Bae bracelets are crafted on premium stretch cord for a comfortable, clasp-free fit. Once you’ve measured your wrist (skin fit + a small comfort allowance), choose the size that best matches your inner circumference:
- Small: fits wrists 15.5–16.5 cm (approx. 6.1–6.5")
- Standard: fits wrists 16.6–18.0 cm (approx. 6.6–7.1") — our most popular fit
- Large: fits wrists 18.1–19.5 cm (approx. 7.2–7.7")
- XL: fits wrists 19.6–21.0 cm (approx. 7.8–8.3")
If you fall between sizes or prefer a slightly looser feel, we recommend choosing the larger size. We also offer a post-purchase restring service should you ever need adjustments.
